Become An Annual Angel  - We've given many tours, made lots of presentations, and had countless conversations regarding how people like you could be of help to Village Northwest Unlimited (VNU). VNU is a not-for-profit corporation located in Sheldon, Iowa, serving people with developmental disabilities and specializing in services for individuals with brain injuries. Serving people with special needs is expensive. Funding avenues for these services provide a consistent cash flow but fall well short of providing the desired excellence we choose for the people we serve. We have always been motivated by the golden rule, "Do unto others as you would have done for you." Therefore, we deliver the very best of clinical, residential, vocational, and other supportive services through avenues and facilities of excellence with honor, inspiration, and pride! Our commitment to our mission of "providing purpose, privacy & dignity" has been recognized nationally. The Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities awarded VNU its highest accreditation. In addition, VNU recently received the highest accreditation possible for its Home and Community Based Services. We are grateful for such recognition. However, we know this is only achieved through the efforts and generosity of many. Today, we want to invite you to join the VNU team by becoming an Annual Angel to the people we serve. Your commitment of $1 per day for one full year will assist us in assisting others to achieve their dreams of lives filled with purpose, privacy, dignity, and independence. Upon completion of your Annual Angel commitment ($365) you will receive a precious VNU keepsake. This timeless gift is a symbol of our appreciation for your choosing to make a lasting impression upon the people we serve. Together…one dollar a day…one day at a time…we will make a difference for many!

Other Charitable Giving Options 

Outright Gifts - a donation of cash, securities or personal property.

Living Trust - a trust you establish to take effect during your lifetime.

Bequest In Will - a gift you make by naming VNU in your will.

Life Insurance Gift - a gift of an old or new policy with VNU named as beneficiary and owner.

Retirement Plan Gift - a gift made by naming VNU as remainder beneficiary after your death.

Real Estate Gift - a donation of real property, either in full or with a retained life estate.

Charitable Remainder Annuity Trust - a trust that pays a set income to you or those you name before VNU receives remainder.

Charitable Gift Annuity - a contract in which VNU agrees to pay you back a percentage of your gift annually for your lifetime.

Charitable Lead Trust - a trust that pays an income to VNU for a period of years before you or heirs receive remainder.
